Half-Life 2 VR received a new patch, adding visible hands for all weapons – DSOGaming

Now here is something that passed under my radar. Earlier last month, the Source VR Mod Team released a new update for Half-Life 2 VR that adds visible hands for all weapons.
Going into more details, these hand poses work for both right-handed and left-handed players. Furthermore, most weapons feature at least basic reload animations. The team also promises to further improve these poses via future updates.
Alongside these hand poses, the November Update addresses a few game issues. For instance, it fixes a potential crash when opening the weapon selection after acquiring the super gravity gun.
Half-Life 2 VR Mod is a mod that allows you to play Valve’s classic first-person shooter in VR. This mod also allows you to do things that were almost impossible in the non-VR version. For instance, you can spin the blocks in the playground just by hitting them or play tetherball with a corpse in Ravenholm.
As always, Steam will download the November Patch the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
With this update, all weapons now feature visible hands, and most feature at least basic reload animations. Although the hand poses and weapon animations are not final and still feature a few bugs or inconsistencies, this should hopefully please those of you who have been waiting for the remaining weapons to get hands!
